Open Space : Remembrance of Sri Mrinal Sen

Chitrabani along with Jibonsmriti and Focus jointly organized a memorial program in remembrance of veteran film director Sri Mrinal Sen, on 18^th January 2019, Saturday, at Chitrabani Auditorium. Mr. Arindam Saha Sardar organized the whole program and also presented some audio-visual clips for this event. Sri Siladitya Sen inaugurated a book. This book is consists information taken from a booklet about film “Pratinidhi”, directed by Mrinal Sen. Sri Sanjay Mukhopadhyay gave a beautiful and knowledgeable speech about “Itihaser Pandulipi : Mrinal Sen”. Sri Debojyoti Mishra was also present in this event as a special guest.

Open Space : Panchti Gaaner Galpo

In the occasion of birth anniversary of legendary poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Chitrabani has concluded an event named “Panchti Gaaner Galpo” on 24^th May, 2019, in association with Hindmotors Focus and Jibonsmriti Digital Archive. The main highlight of this event is famous singer Mrs Dipali Nag. “Panchti Gaaner Galpo” is basically an audio-visual program created by Mr Arindam Saha Sardar, who was also the coordinator of this event. This program has been based on “Faiyaz Aloke Nazrul Sangeet”, written by Mrs Kakoli Sen. The chief guest of this event was Mrs. Kalyani Kazi, daughter-in-law of Kazi Nazrul Islam.

Open Space : Gugababa 50

On the completion of 50 years of one of the most famous Bengali film Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen, directed by the legend Satyajit Ray, Jibonsmriti Digital Archive and Hindmotor Focus Jointly organized an event named Gugababa 50, in association of Chitrabani. The event was held on Friday, 14 June 2019 at 5pm at Chitrabani Auditorium. This event was consist of two parts, general discussion on Gugababa 50, speaker Mr. Debashis Mukhopadhyay and screening of an audio-visual program, created by Soumendu Roy. The entire program was coordinated by Mr. Arindam Saha Sardar. And also some songs was performed by Jibonsmriti music group.

Open Space : Esrajer Ranadhir

In memory of veteran esraj musician Late Ranadhir Roy, Chitrabani in association with Jibonsmriti Digital Archive and Hindmotor Focus presented a beautiful evening, ESRAJER RANADHIR. This event was hosted on Saturday, 20th July 2019, 5pm at Chitrabani auditorium. This is mainly an audio-visual program which shows about Ranadhir Roy and his journey as an Esraj player. This also shows some details information about the forgotten instrument Esraj, which at that time was a very popular musical instrument. The entire event is hosted and coordinated by Mr Arindam Saha Sardar.
